Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Idea-to-Epic ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@ideatoepic.live if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Credits, plans, and billing

The Service uses credits. Credits can be purchased as one-time packs or granted monthly through a subscription plan. Credits are consumed when you generate content (chapters, illustrations, pitches, etc.). Prices are shown on the Pricing page and are billed in USD via Stripe.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation stops future renewals but does not trigger a prorated refund of the current period.

Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused monthly-allotment credits do not roll over between billing periods.

4. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Share, resell, or automate access to your account or credits.
• Create multiple accounts to abuse promotional credits, trials, or rate limits.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.

6. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of the input you provide and the AI-generated output produced for your account, subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers. You are solely responsible for reviewing generated content for accuracy, originality, and publishability before distributing it.

The Service, its interface, brand, and code are owned by Idea-to-Epic and protected by copyright and trademark law.

7. AI disclaimer

AI-generated output can be inaccurate, biased, or resemble existing works. It is provided "as is" without warranty of originality or fitness for a particular purpose. Do not rely on the Service for professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Idea-to-Epic's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service, or your access to it, if you breach these Terms or if operation of the Service becomes impractical.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
